Pure Gym Kittybrewster Fit Out

Pure Gym Kittybrewster Fit Out

Pure Gym group already had a strong Scottish presence and we had already been involved in several fit outs for them in Glasgow, Motherwell and East Kilbride. As part of their expansion strategy in Scotland Pure Gym opened 30 gyms this year to take its total up to 90 that includes about 20 in Scotland, including 6 in Edinburgh, 4 in Glasgow, 5 in Paisley and now 2 in Aberdeen. The Kittybrewster site is a brand new building in an established retail park just a 10 minute walk from Aberdeen University. In line with the other fit outs we have done for Pure Gym, our brief was to take the building from a bare shell to a completed gymnasium however in this case the design also involved the introduction of a mezzanine first floor space to maximise the footprint and available height in the unit.

Following the installation of a system mezzanine floor by our specialist sub-contractor, the fit out involved all of Transform’s multi-trade capability – joiner work, ceilings, electrical, data, floorcoverings, partitions and doors, air-conditioning, plumbing and decoration all supervised and managed by our in-house project management team. In addition we installed a lift and installed all the changing room lockers and benches along with the IPS and Vanity units in the washrooms. The programme was the usual Pure Gym fast track to enable them to open the new facility as soon as possible, and we delivered the project on time.
