Project Overview

As part of an upgrade to six high-rise residential properties owned by Aberdeen City Council, Transform replaced the entrance doors in 430 properties with new, one-hour fire doors. The properties remained occupied during the installation, and we worked closely with the Council and tenants to ensure there was minimum disruption.

Tenants were given a proposed installation date with the opportunity to revise the date depending on their availability. The new doors and frames were prefinished to reduce the length of time our operatives needed to be on-site at each property. We were careful to reduce disruption to the adjoining fabric of the building when removing the doors and door frames, giving equal care during installation of the new frames to ensure we adhered to strict fire sealant regulations.
