PWC

Transform were delighted to have won this striking fit-out through a competitive tender process for Knight Property Group’s iconic re-development of The Capitol cinema in Aberdeen.

Year: 2017

Size: 10,000 SQFT

Sector: Commercial

Scope: Principle Contractor, Fit-out

Project Overview

The first occupant, PwC, was one of the global giants in professional services. They moved their 120 strong team from Albyn Place to the top floor of the office development. The Grade A building offers a 1930’s art deco inspired entrance, marble and granite finishes throughout, 10,000 sqft column-free office space, and spectacular views of Aberdeen City.

Rarely are office buildings such as The Capitol conceived and constructed with an exacting eye for detail and quality. Combining the listed historic theatre foyer with its original art deco features with modern open plan and efficient office space should be applauded.

Kevin Reynard, Office Senior Partner for PwC in Aberdeen

After 3 months of work, their impressive fit-out concluded and PwC moved into their Union Street address that November. Kevin Reynard added: “Having our teams together on one floor will not only allow us to enhance our flexibility and speed-to-market but our ability to deliver excellent services and advice across all our lines of service from auditing and deals to human resources and cybersecurity.”
